circa 1820, with octagonal 9in. barrels, the top-flats signed 'SALISBURY', dove-tailed fore-sights, engraved bands at breech, engraved top-tangs with shallow rear-sights, borderline engraved locks with stepped tails and signed below the rainproof pans 'PARSONS', sliding safes behind the cocks and rollers to the frizzen-springs, walnut full-stocks with chequered bag-shaped butts, plain triggers and horn-tipped ramrods, traces of finish and complete with a period walnut storaged case, relined and compartmented in green baize and complete with a good three-way flask, a bullet mould and wad-punch, the lid handle escutcheon engraved 'J.P.S. MOUSLEY'
